We have the capability of manufacturing many custom products that you may require for your chain or trolleys. Heavy-Duty Load Wheel
In our experience, carrier (load) trolley sets fail prematurely for a limited number of reasons. Lubrication problems are the primary contributor. Both overhead and inverted carriers must endure high temperatures while the overhead carriers also endure the corrosive and wet environment of the phosphate system. Lubricants that are currently in use have trouble meeting the demands of the process conditions and the equipment requires a diligent preventative maintenance program to ensure that it operates continuously, as intended.
The mechanical design of almost all load trolleys on the market today, is insufficient to meet the load bearing/life cycle demands of the automotive paint process, even if properly lubricated. With these things in mind, EMPIRE MACHINE & CONVEYORS has developed and patented a load trolley set that, at a minimum, will double the current expected life between rebuilds. While designed to handle the worst process conditions typical of a paint shop, body and final assembly conditions are easily accommodated.
Itemized Design Improvements
EMPIRE MACHINE & CONVEYORS has replaced the multiple-component inner race with a single piece race that is resistant to the damage that occurs from overheating due to lack of lubrication.
We utilize a solid Hex Axle to secure each wheel in place, providing more positive retention. The bolt head is in turn, locked in place. In the unlikely event that there is a breakdown, it is simple for maintenance to perform emergency repairs.
Our company uses only high-alloy materials for load trolley construction, which contributes to the longer service life and better corrosion resistance.
